OpenTable Diners’ Choice awards have existed since 2008, yet, the question would often come up in the field from restaurants, “How did I win this award?”
We worked closely with OpenTable's Brand, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to design a place online that answers these questions and educates both diners and restaurants about OpenTable’s award programming.
Additionally, we worked to refresh the award badge system, commissioning the final hand lettering from Berlin-based illustrator Carmi Grau, so that it felt visually cohesive with OpenTable's progressive step forward.
